I believe you already know your mission, you came to earth knowing exactly what you love to do and the reason why you came into this world. One problem, you was too young to remember and then you grew up.
There is an old folk tale that before a baby is born an angel whispers in their ear the mysteries of the universe, the meaning of life, God and all things. But the great irony is when the baby comes into this world, she can not express herself and so she cries. By the time she has learned to speak all the wisdom of angels has faded and she is left with only hints of a lost memory.
I've always loved this tale but I take it to a happier ending. As children we naturally gravitate towards the toys and ways to play which resonate with how we wish to live and serve in this world. However as we grow older we often stop doing the activities which we naturally loved as a child. But there are clues, bread crumbs, jigsaw pieces, its like a jigsaw puzzle or detective story. These clues can be found inside you
What did you love to do as a child? What could you do for hours on end, as if time had stopped?
This is about exploring, playfully, little bit by little bit. It's a journey, an adventure.
I support creative women and men to collect these playful breadcrumbs and begin to put the pieces together. Through Wonder Shops, Inner Child Sessions and online tools we nurture your sense of wonder, playfulness, curiosity and courage.
I teach this because this is how I came to my own mission, I reconnected with my inner child and discovered what I loved to do as a child. I became calmer and more grounded As I followed my curiosity doorways to new worlds opened up and the day to day seemed to become even more magical. I once again saw the world with wonder, seeing infinite possibilities and my confidence increased. I asked gentle questions what if and I wonder...
The second reason is you are needed. You are needed in your full rainbow spectrum. We are living in a strange new world and every single one of us is needed in our true essence. Connecting back with your inner child is a way to reconnect with your mission on this planet, in a playful way.
The world needs more storytellers, artists, musicians, people who make us laugh, dance, cry, dream, tell new stories and carry and transform old ones.
